Does it matter which rotor i get for distributor on 72?
I noticed Pelican has several rotors available for the longhood Bosch distributor. I don't know which i have and need to get my order in this morning if possible.
Is the only difference in the rev limiter? Motor is a '72T w/ webers and supposedly 2.2S pistons, cams etc. Thanks, Erik

There are several flavours available for this application. Rev limiter is part and there are versions that are plain rotors, that is without the rev limiter built in.
Would try to limit rev limits to 6200-6400 and no more unless you are sure that the engine is in good condition and descent parts inside.

No problem limiting rev's to 6.2 i'm just wondering if there are any other differences in the rotors. Thanks!

If rev limiting rotor is not needed, try a '74 Beetle. Works great!
