Wayne Dempsey went with his editor in preparation for his engine book, and wrote a review of the class, here:

I went to Bruce and Jerry's class a few years ago and I left thinking it was a bargain. The class was basically entertaining and informative from the beginning until the end. They lay out the information in a very easy to understand style and can give you as much detail as you would like.
In the morning they started with a slideshow each day that pretty much showed you one of everything. It was also full of 70s-80s era car prep and racing photos. On the last day Jerry fired up a 750hp 935 motor that they were finishing and ran a dyno pull for us. (It is amazing how fast the turbos turn orange!) He also took us on a tour of Morespeed across the street. (Moorespeed?) They had 3 908 spyders there for a barebones restoration. In the back they had one of the 6 917/30s, a 936, a Sebring winning 935, a 911L and a couple other interesting cars.

I also took the class. +1 for Craigster regarding lunch. It was good fun and informative. Don't expect a classroom setting. It's held at Jerry's shop. ie- folding chairs, lunch where you can eat it, but both Bruce and Jerry are a wealth of knowledge. I think your experience may depend on the others in your class. I got lucky and had some fun folks. Jerry's shop, and projects were worth the price of admission, for me. The trans class was cancelled for lack of enrollment, but I also stayed-on for the tune-up class. Few did, and it was great having that time, almost to myself, with Jerry. He's a dedicated builder and it's infectious.

I would be interested in attending but the distance is prohibitive.
You should ask them if you can contribute your engine for demonstration purposes !!!
