Another tire width question
I did some searches and found some good information but it didnt really answer my question.
I have a set of 7 and 8's that i will be putting 205 and 225's on, that seems to be a fairly agreed upon size. I also have a set of gotti's 8.5 x 16. I was wondering if i could put 255's or 245's on them. I cant seem to find what the max tire size for a 8.5" rim is. thanks brian

Just because you can fit something, doesn't mean it's the best idea.
A 245/45 x16 wants 7.5" - 9" wheel, the 8.5 this would be a good choice for that wheel
