Back to soft window?

I have a '68 targa that started life with a soft window. Some years later a glass window was installed. As you can guess, I would like to go back to the soft window.

Can anyone give me the pros and cons of this venture(cost, noise, fogging, visibility...).

My Thanks in advance,
Pappy

Don't even bother considering the pro's and cons Pappy- just go ahead and convert it. Soft window targas are unique, and to my mind very cool! It'll probably be worth more if you returned it to how it's supposed to be anyway.
No one drives an early 911 because they are practical, sensible daily drivers with lots of grocery space. They drive them because they're fun, special and make you smile. You'll smile even more when you can feel air behind the targa bar, I'll bet.

I asked this question before and few people responded. I have just purchaced a 71 targa. I realize that they were not produced with a soft window, but Can I convert it? I would think that there should be some snaps, zippers and frame to install after removing the glass. I was looking for a soft window targa but was unable to find one in decent condition.

I think you should convert it back. I love the openness of my targa. I would think it would be even better with no rear glass. This would make it more like a roadster.
