Need Help!

I have a starting/ idle problem that seems to be a common problem for some. I have a 82 Sc that has given me problems starting on the first crank like it used to. Not to mention a poor idle to go along with it . Reading thru the threads they all seem to be the same but not exact. For some reason if I don't drive the car for a few days it will start immediately But, if I use it every day it takes a while to crank it over when cold. I have taken it in to a couple different shops to diagnose the problem but have come out hundreds of dollars down with no solution. Please help! Here are my findings.

Cold control pressure......1 bar
warm " " ...............3.5 bars
main Pressure..............4.7 bars
Residual pressure............2 bars

power to cold start valve reading is good.

Question

OK! Getting a little frustrated.I have replaced all plugs and wires, fuel filter, checked all injectors and CSV. Still no resolution. Starts fine when hot or when it sits for a couple of days but, takes a couple of cranks if I drive it anywhere and have it sit for a couple of hours. Also noticed that when I rev it up a little during warm up it will sometimes cut out and die.

Looking for anymore advise!

when u say "when I rev it up a little during warm up it will sometimes cut out and die." do u mean that when u let off the gas it idles down so low it cuts off? if so, that it a sign it may be too rich.

Once it starts it will idle but if I tap on the accelerator it will cut off.

looking at your pressures, i assume the cold is with the car off and the warm is while the car is running.
