Thumbs up The T1000 Engine Dolly!

The T1000 Engine Dolly Type HT (Harris Teeter) and its designer Derk Pitt. Brilliant! Anyone up for a power buy? This thing is MONEY!

I've seen that somewhere?

That's a great design!
You guys paid attention to detail with the chrome plating and everything.
Looks like something right out of Penske Racing.

I'll be looking for a doner chassis tomorrow!

The design looks familiar for some reason.

I think it had a prior life as a Safeway savemobile... the cinderblock jackstands are totally ghetto!

It's not in full production yet, but all proceeds will go towards get Erik a shop heater and decent jack stands.

It's a way to go but, I would modify the pressure points for the heater boxes.

Which shopping carts are better suited for this application?

Walmart? Safeway? Albertson's?

Did you get the optional bolt-on parts carrier basket with ergonomic handle? I understand that Elephant Racing makes a bushing / bearing kit that really reduces "wobble" at high speed. WEVO has a kit too (titanium needle bearings) but its pretty expensive.

A bit modified, but still warm from the heist.

Now a real good design would look like a low boy trailer with the casters in front and behind the motor and the carrying rails an inch or so of the floor for the optimum in clearance..

I understand. With concrete blocks under a car (even though I see the metal stands), I wouldn't want the evidence to show around here either.

So did you push that home from the grocery or have your passenger tow it out the side window?
BTW, Harbor Freight has pretty rugged carts...

Regards,

The T1000 engine dolly (type HT) was specifically designed to fit neatly in the 911's luggage compartment and, therefore, travels well from engine drop party to engine drop party!

Hey Joe, I used to travel regularly to the Quad Cities .......is the Duck City Grill still there? Owner/chef was a trip! Great food.

Nah, too greasy. Bad cholesterol.

Try "Tofu Heaven" on Main St. Your arteries will love it!

Ya, but how do you get the engine out and on the cart?? The old homemade versions are designed with a U shape so you can get a jack under the engine and between the cart. This one is not so obvious.

The jack fits up through the center of the T1000 (it's wide open) and is high enough to pull the jack out once the engine is down.
