No Option Code Stickers
My truck hood is missing the option code sticker. And so is the service manual (I think it's supposed to be in there too.)
Is there any other way to find out the factory options my car came with? Maybe useing the VIN number some how?

you could get a COA from porsche. of course from what I hear they are not usually worth the money. of course I heard this information after I sent away for mine. After 4 months I got a call that I should have it in a few weeks. My guess is your 83 would be more accurate than my 69.

well you asked. I dont no about the newer cars with the 1 digit vins but I know that the older vins offer no option information. except targa/coupe or who built the body in some cases.

Call 1-800-Porsche....option 3. They will run your VIN and give you the option codes for free.
