WHY two pumps for 930? Options?
WHY were the 930s engineered to use two fuel pumps? Has anyone sucsussefly come up with a modern single pump replacement? Options? Appreciate any thoughts. EPS

im sure there might be a big enough pump out there, but Porsche already had a working system in the CIS, so they just added the second pump to meet the demand when developing the turbo cars. Its not a pressure thing, its a vloume thing. You DONT want to run a turbo car too lean.
