I don't have the parts in front of me so I don't remember the part numbers. My '72 has MFI. There are two hoses coming off the heat exchanger. One is a large (about 2") hose that goes to a regulator housing. According to Warren, this is mainly for smog control. My regulator housing and hose were removed before I puchased the car. The second hose is a small (about 1") hose which connects to the MFI thermostat. There are actually two hoses here: an inner and an outer. My original hoses were cloth covered, heavy rubber hoses. I ordered new hoses which have the correct part number, but they are now black paper-covered foil hoses (almost identical to the fan shroud to heat exchanger hoses, only smaller). Either will work. The paper ones will likely wear out sooner, especially the outer hose since it is exposed to dirt and water which comes off the road.
