This is the greatest peoplemover ever! In highschool several friends had really junker microbusses, but this is something else. Amazing.

I ran into a guy recently who put a WRX turbo motor in his Vanagon. Very nicely done with turbo twists and a Carrera steering wheel.
Apparently it's not that difficult to do |
