Any step by step assembly line photos/illustrations of early 911s?

Is there any literature or online sites of the factory assembly, step by step process photos/illustrations of the 911? (specifically early models)

Thanks.

There is a guy in Arizona, Charlie White, who goes by DerWhite. He is a big 356 guy, and has a website at:

http://hometown.aol.com/derwhite/

There's a ton on the site, but:

http://members.aol.com/zenith356c/Birthofa911Porsche.html

is the "birth of a porsche" page with some great pictures. He also sells those pictures on ebay. The problem is the quality is terrible. Barely good enough to show up on a computer monitor. He supposedly took the pictures, but refuses to post or sell better quality versions. He says he doesn't have time. I offered to pay him, or do it for him, but he refuses. If someone here knows him, please talk some sense into him. Those pictures should be on every classic 911 owners garage wall. Sorry for the rant, but it really bothers me.

Don't know. That's just a link off of the first website. I've had that page up at home and at work and I haven't gotten a virus alert.

That second link is a pretty cool website. I didn't get a virus alert either. Thanks for posting it.

Maybe someone with more knowledge than me will chime in but my computer says that a virus named "Troj/Pysme-Do" has been found and that the page "has been dropped."

We use Symantec Anti-Virus version 9.0.

According to this site, Troj/Pysme-DO is
Quote:
a downloading Trojan for the Windows platform. Troj/Pysme-DO may arrive embedded in a file dropped by other malware. It may also be hosted in a wesite and runs when this site is viewed. Troj/Pysme-DO accesses certain URLs in attempt to download and execute a file on the infected computer.
BE CAREFUL!

Awesome pics Sherwood! I will be contacting you soon to purchase some. Is that one guy working on the car wearing sandals?

Yes. Apparently, hard toe shoes means something else in Germany.

Thanks Sherwood. Those are the kinds of photos I'm looking for. On "Factory pic #19 Sample", (nice photo BTW), the part of the body shown at the door bottom (directly below the "e" letter in Sample), is that part a separate welded in piece? Also, I do not see the jack receiver there. How is the jack receiver incorporated there?

Thanks again for the information.

Not sure. Maybe not yet welded on.
