993 performance enhancing chips?
Anyone know about the 993 performance enhancing computer chips?
1) Drawbacks? 2) Is it worth it? 3) Which one if any? Thanx SvK

You might want to repost this in the 993 forum.

Not for a '96 993, You would need to buy a whole new DME first

SvK:
Bill is right; the '96 993 ECU's cannot be chipped and require a '97 ECU for this to be done. You might search on the 993 Forum on Rennlist about this subject as thats a very active group of 993'ers over there. ![]()
