Top Ten Projects for your 911?

As a "garage enthusiast", what do you suppose are on your top 10 projects you might need some direction on, maybe with pictures (or video) and some good tips?

I have a short list that I think would benefit a lot of people:

* Brake bleeding/brake pad changes
* Windshield installation
* Flare (welding) install
* Torsion bar indexing / Replacement
* Front lowering
* Alignment
* CIS Tuning
* Carb Tuning
* Shifter Adjustment

That's a quick, short list. Any others you can think of? I'm looking for things that 101 Projects maybe brushes on, but you might want more detail with.

Thanks!

I'd add "valve adjust" in there somewhere for sure...

Installation of Front Sway bar...

Include installation of bigger front sway bar (OEM). I find installing rear TB and indexing less strenous than installing a Carrera front sway bar.

I am getting ready to try to identify my exhaust system. I have a '75 with the thermal reactor removed. I have new heat exchangers that I would like to install. I've heard bad stories on the headbolts and I'm not exactly sure what style exhaust system I have since it's had the smog stuff removed. What gaskets I need and so on. That would be a good topic.

911 Turbo camshaft housing oil line restrictors takes care of oil foaming problems, also will increas oil pressure particularly at idle.
It's a quick, eazy and cheep mod.

I second the valve adjustment. What about lightening the car, stripping the carpet and prepping the interior for paint and installing a cage?

I like the idea of a valve adjustment, and stripping the undercoating.

The valve adjust procedure is covered in 101 Projects. Or do you mean you would want it to be more elaborate ? Like including 2.7Racers method perhaps ?

Fuel lines replacement.
Valves adjustment.
Axle shafts/CV joints check.
That's enough to keep you busy for a long period of time.

Seems to me that the Pelican Search Function needs some exercising.
”101 MORE Projects for your Porsche 911...“ by Wayne Dempsey (9 pages).

Of course there are top 10 lists for ’70 Irish green Sportomatic RHD.

Best,
