There is hardly a straight line on a 911. By removing the bumper strip, it seems to really make that big flat surface of the bumper stand out. I actually wanted a IROC bumper when I got my SC and not can't stand them on a narrow car. I guess i'm just being a picky designer.

I'll drill two holes at the rear, and bolt thru the bellows mount holes, using a rubber gasket to protect the paint. The front will be a little tougher to get to the inside for the fastners, but I'm thinking longer bolts with standoffs. Hammertone paint will be used to hide the hammer marks at the rear.

Sure the shell would be toast in a hit, but the rest might be protected. If made wide enough on top with a slight rise, might be able to ditch the rubber smile at the hood as well as the bellows.
