There is hardly a straight line on a 911. By removing the bumper strip, it seems to really make that big flat surface of the bumper stand out. I actually wanted a IROC bumper when I got my SC and not can't stand them on a narrow car. I guess i'm just being a picky designer.

Like this image I thought it would be cool to creat a shell similar to this which slips over the existing bumper which could be bonded to it, thus keeping the impact protection. Sure the shell would be toast in a hit, but the rest might be protected. If made wide enough on top with a slight rise, might be able to ditch the rubber smile at the hood as well as the bellows.
