14" Fuchs? What do they belog to???

I've ended up with a set of flawless 14" Fuchs 14 x 5.5, and am just wondering what they might have came from originally? Older 356's, early 911/912?

They are in such nice shape and seem to be of an odd nature I think perhaps they should go to someone that knows what the heck they are for.

On a similar note, I'm looking for the 15" 9 & 11's for our RSR project, as originals are very expensive, has anyone found a good replica manufacturer?

Thanks in advance,

Brent

911 and 914.

On the 911 they were used as a comfort option. Standard on the E I believe. Or were those 6 x 14?

Anyway, not all that desireable unless you are going full concour or correct for a comfort option car.

Hey Brent- Don't read "not desireable" to mean not valueable. They were also available as an option for the 67 911 as a comfort package. 14"s are getting hella hard to find. Don't give them away by any means. That said, will you give them to me?
(BTW- you are correct, they are 14 x 5.5)

I have 14x5.5 on my 69 911E. I like the look. There is more sidewall than the 15x5.5, hence the "comfort" option. I believe they were standard on the 69E which replace the 68L for "luxury". Those also had smaller wheels for a more comfortable ride. In Seattle, on bumpy I-5, you notice the difference.

I'm pretty sure they were on '69-'71 E's and T's with the comfort group, some 914-6's and later on the '76 912E.

There's a set on thesamba right now for $550 that look OK. That seems to be about the going rate.

I had a set years ago when my car was stock and liked them a lot.
