Front hub correct color
Does anyone know the correct stock color for the front hub of an '81 SC? Mine appear to have been primered. I'm redoing all the front suspension components, including the hubs.

It is aluminum. There is no color but aluminum color.

Thanks guys. I'll take a closer look as perhaps they are bare aluminium and not the primer I had originally thought.

Someone along the way probably decided to paint them. Bead blasting gives a very nice finish.
If you do decide to bead blast you have to make sure to plug up the openings and tape them very well or you are going to have to put new bearings in, not the worst thing if you have high milage.
