engine case fitting size

i'm trying to connect my an-16 oil hose to the side of the 3.0 sc case. the fitting on the side of the case is 30mm, but what is the size going into the case? i want to remove the fitting and use a metric to an-16 adaptor directly from the case. has anyone else done this? i would assume that most just use a 30mm female adaptor but with the 90 degree an-16 hose end there isn't much room.
thanks,
matt

Matt,

Why don't you use a M30 fitting directly from the AN-16 hose ... either factory fitting, or a BAT fitting will slip into AN-16 hose.
