Anyone know the part number of (or where I can get) the rubber trim that sits on top of the rear bumpers just between the bumpers and the body?

ONLY to the Q-tip crowd!!!

To others, it has moved a bit towards 'R' value, even if just one needle-width!

Congrats, Don, on a job well done!

Warren -- you only posted that reply to get yourself over the 13,000 comment threshold.

Thanks Warren! I feel somewhat honored for you to have spent your 13k post on my sled!

The tape looks clean. Just wondering how it will hold up in the elements. Will it turn into a seasonal reapplication?

Hey Curt! Sorry I missed this. If you look closely you can see it easily. From a distance its no big deal. Either way I don't mind.

It's not tape but actually pinstriping. As far as "holding up" its no different than the pinstriping you see on cars. It'll hold up just fine. Besides, most of the early cars you see here are rarely driven in harsh weather. Mine may see some light rain but that's about it.

For those that wondered, here's my 73 after I removed the trim and welded up the holes.

Thanks Don - can you post an overall shot of your car? I'm interested to see how the tape bumper stripes look with the chrome rocker trim (or did you delete the rocker trim also?).
