I need to get a '69-'73 dash recovered/restored I seem to remember a thread about someone providing this service but can't find it. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I currently have interior pieces with George at AIR motorsports. He his a pelican member, I believe his name here is geshangi or something like that. First initial part of his last name.

call him at 818.902.1112

From the pictures I've seen, the work is really nice

Or you can avoid the middle man mark up and go to Marlin directly. He's in Palmdale, Ca. and can be reached at 310 528 3192.
Frankly there's nothing special about recovering a dash, any competent upholstery shop can do it. On an early dash the real challenge is in the speaker cover. Only one place offers reproductions of any acceptable quality.

I also used Robert Budd at classic9leathershop.com. He does very nice work. I had door panels and top piece and handles and map pocked lids redone, and he used french stitching and real leather. Beautiful work. I also had Robert make me new sun visors. Great job on them.

Middle man or not I was very happy with my recent dealings with George, my dash came back to me in about 2 weeks and is a beautiful work of art. For a price I thought was quite reasonable given how much just ok original ones fetch.

how does it with Mr. budd? Do I send him my old cracked dash and he covers it?

My current (old) dash has 2 major cracks running down it. Do I need to fix any of that before sending to him?
