Help! - Can Anyone Identify this Part??

Help!!

I bought this part, as part of a large job lot purchase, thinking it was a center rear reflector for a 911.

After doing a little research, I am not sure what this is. It has no curvature to it...It is perfectly flat.

Does anyone recognize this part??

Is it a center rear reflector?

What is this part?

Does anyone know??

I think it's the reflector for a 914.

agree with arbita1. It doesn't have the two extra reflectors on each side as a 911 does.

I think that as well.

Easy to check as well.

Take the part number (that is on it) and see if it matches the part number for a 914 rear reflector in our host's new parts catalog.

Yup.. that is the 914 update. Should have a little solenoid that fits into the lock cylinder to pop the trunk once this reflector is installed.

If it dosen't have that piece... I think I may have a new one if interested.

Thanks guys.

It looks like this is an aftermarket part that usually sells for around $100-$150.

I could not find it on our host's site.

I'll advertise it in the 914 classifieds.
