wow, you guys have really seen some country..and get to see more driving back (envy..envy). i just had denis (speeder) here with me today. we toured the clinton presidential library and hung out some talkin' cars and stuff, too. he's a fantastic guy and brought romeo, his german shepherd along with him. he's in memphis or nashville tonight, then on to see seahawk's farm, then to see rodeo in rhode island. he'll be driving back to los angeles on that northern route as well. more pics, guys! :)

Shoot if denis is driving back the northern route he should get in touch with us, either we will pass each other on I70 or get home when he is in New England and either way we should say hi !!!

thanks much to zotman42 for being able to put us up in the mtns of utah! Small town, looks to be great! Right now we are in SLC, UT in Thaifoon having a late dinner! Tommorow (wed) we will be going through Denver, so anyone want to grab dinner, give a shout to my cell 603-top-kats!

nice! looks like the first time i tried to ski..but nobody told me about 'traversing from side to side'. i took off like a torpedo and nearly killed myself. finally stopped by aiming at a snowbank. have fun, guys! :)

Well I have been too busy getting ready for the Topeka Club Race to host the fellas in Denver today. They probably pushed on to Nebraska. No Denver rendezvous happened despite our combined efforts to contact Grady. Grady going dark is a concern to me and I am sure other folks. Hope your travels were good today guys.

We made it as far a North Platt Nebraska today. Looking forward to seeing Souk tomorrow night.

Spoke with Charles an hour ago, and they are in Nebraska heading east at at a good pace. They should be in the hood in time for some BBQ and beers before it gets dark.

Had a late lunch with CHris and Charles this afternoon. Had fun talking welders, P -cars, tools etc. I took them to what I thought was a neat sounding place right near the turnpike exit, but once we went in, we all agreed it looked like a freak joint and when the scary looking waitress walked up, we all decided to bail and find a someplace "safer" looking to eat. I think Charles wanted to take the friendly waitress home at the place we ended up eating at. They talked her into coming out in the parking lot with us to take the obligatory Pelican pic on their camera.

They are back on the road now headed for Stoddards in Cleveland.

We got into Niagra Fall really late and slept in this morning.
Had a great visit with Tim, wish he lived a little closer. Maybe if we made an airstrip he would visit us (think cargo cult).

I needed to pick up some electrical connector from Stoddard yesterday but we we're running too late to pick them up so I payed over the phone and had them leave the parts in the night drop-off box. I suggested an alternative if the drop off box wasn't practical: Put the parts in the glovebox of a Carrera GT or GT3 and leave the keys so I could lock the car after I retrieved them. ;)

Chris makes a new friend - Dan, who we picked up hitchhiking in Price, Utah and gave him a ride to Denver! Ex-trucker who hit a deer on his harley :-( guy was hurting pretty bad, but was a good fellow.

FYI - Talked to Grady, he is back up and around, he had a nasty cold that had him laid up :-(
