broken airbox help

Hey guys. I bought a new set of airbox straps and they were extremely tight. I couldnt get them to fit. While trying to do this, the bottom piece for the strap broke off from the bottom part of the airbox. any ideas? Right now, I have the one old strap holding the airbox together.

Airbox Straps

Mack,

I had to replace one of my straps last month. While requesting the part, I was asked what year of my car because there is two different lenghts. The microfish said I was suppose to get the shorter one. It was wrong. I needed the longer one.

Hope this helps!
