'76 Track width?

Can anyone help with the measurement for the stock track width for a '76 911S?

Just to be sure I am doing it right. How do you measure it? From the center of the tire on one side to the center on the other side? ..or from the ooutside of the tires?

Thanks a lot

Track is measured center to center(wheel or tire, makes no difference)
normal '76 911 f/r 1369/1354 w/ 6" ET36 wheels
Carrera '76 f/r 1369/1380 w/ 6' ET36/7" ET23.3 wheels.

D ET implies D track

Bill,

I will never dare to question you, but I would like to check i understand the way it work.

It seems to me that higher ET (without any spacers) will drive the center of the wheel more inboard, and therefore reduce track. Am i missing something?

Thanks again
