May I ask if this wire is located somewhere in the fuse/relay box on the left of the engine compartment? Thanks.

The wire for the heated rear window runs from the dashboard area (behind heater controls, somewhat difficult to access) to the electric panel left/rear of the engine. If you do not use the heated rear window, you can remove the small metal box (relay) and access the individual wires through the then open connector block by inserting spade connectors from the top. Of course you should make sure that the wire you are using is really not in use and you connect the correct and identical wire in the dashboard and in the engine bay. Everything can easily be removed if not needed anymore without leaving any traces.
