brake pads on 911t
I've got a 73.5911t that I need to replace the brake pads on. The car will be mostly street driven, but that will include a few trips to the mountains, and perhaps down the road a little track fun time.
What specific pads would you recommend for a car like mine? I also need to replace the rotors, and wondered if drilled rotors would provide much improvement or are they mostly for show? Thanks, Ashford

Drilled rotors are mostly for show, there's lots of threads about cracked drilled rotors. Our host sells Ferodo pads that are a nice street pad.

+1 on the drilled for show. Stick with a stock rotor. Everyone has their favorite pad, so you are likely to get wide range. From what our host says, the Ferodo or Metal master would be a good small step up over the OEM.

Way back when, I had very good luck w/ Repco Metal masters for street use. The same pads are currently available under the PBR and Axxis brand names. You still won't be sorry if using them for that purpose.

Thanks for the responses. How are the Ferodo pads about giving off dust?
