bad trailing arm or ? 911

I am installing new rear wheel bearings along with a new/used Right "trailing arm".Before I removed the old bearing from the "New" trailing arm I noticed lots of "Play" in the bearing when holding/moving the "hub".Now I reinstall the New/Used trailing arm with new Wheel bearing and the original hub from MY car and I still have lots of "Play".The new wheel bearing didn't slide right in by any means,I carefully tapped it in using the old bearing race.I cant imagine it could be moving around in there, could it ?,I also just installed the LEFT bearing/hub assembly and all is good.
Any help is greatly appreciated and I may need another Right side "trailing arm" aluminum from a '76-'89 911.
