Window on Drivers side wont go up???

Hi Everyone,

Funny thing happen to my driver's side window.

The window was about 1/2 way down when I pushed the power switch to lower it and it made a "clump sound."

The window then dropped like 5-6 inches and lsat there kind of loose.
I then used the power window switch to lower it the remaining inch. Now the window is stuck and will not go up. Looks like it is off the rail or stuck.

Anyone have this happen? Is it easy to fix?

Motor is still working with no issues..........

Thanks in advance,,,,,,,,,,,,

Window has fallen out of the track. Take off the door trim and remove the panel. Lower window regulator to the bottom and you will be able to see it. There is a rubber gasket that sits in a horizontal U shaped channel. Put the window back in the gasket. Sometimes it easier to remove the gasket and put it on the window first and then back into the channel. Once you remove the door panel to reveal the regulator it'll be apprent what you need to do.

It could also be a failed Pivot Pin. It is not hard to replace. Do a search here for "Pivot pin" to find out everything you neeed to know.
