passenger side window - slow
Passenger side window always went up slow. Suggested that I install new felt in window track. Ordered felt from Pelican, installed, it now goes up slower. (When I had the felt out, it went up like normal)
Seems the window gets very tight towards the top of the track. Is there a way of trimming the felt to make it better or do I have something else going on? Michael

suggestion-
The window frame may be installed at the improper angle. Mine does this too...., and judging by the wind noise on that side, the frame needs adjustment because there is a bind along the travel.

Try a little silicone spray on your felt.

Just pull the plugs on the front and rear of the door and the attaching bolts will be exposed. Loosen them and shift the frame a bit.
BTW. When you put the new felts in, did you have to remove the inner door panel? I have one sitting around that I ordered, and have been curious how to install it.

Thanks for the info. Pulled the felt and put the new in without pulling the panel. It took some work to slide it down towards the end but it went. I used a little lubricant on the inside to help make it a little easier. I read a post by John Walker that explained it well. It was one of his first post on Pelican. He's always a wealth of info.
I'll be working on adjusting the window this weekend. Michael
