hose questions
Two questions:
1) the hose in the photo is running down the left side of the car...i was inspecting all the visible hoses and i noticed at this 1 place, this hose is a bit pinched by the metal bracket thingy. nothing seems to be leaking out of it. should i leave it alone? what is this hose...is it for the air conditioner? 2) i really want to inspect the fuel lines...are they visible by looking underneath the car? where are they, and what am i looking for? thanks. i really appreciate it! Scott

when you say left is this passenger side? Looks the oil line to the oil cooler. My clamp is pinching the hose as well but does not seem to effect oil flow but I am planning to change out the line soon. I think they get easily damaged from road debris.

Looks like an A/C line. Does the A/C still work?

If you ever decide to try the system, I'd have the service center check for leaks at that area. If you decide to remove the lines at some point, there are about 50 of those clamps to remove.

The fuel lines are in the center tunnel.
I agree that looks to be an A/C line.

That's an a/c line & clamp...many of us remove the complete system (particularly if it's not working) to drop a bit of weight and to allow for better access in the engine compartment. I would estimate there are 12-15 of those clamps (but it just seems like 50 when you're under there
).

Metal fuel lines run through the tunnel area (ignore them). In the front (at gas tank) and rear (engine) you have some rubber lines that over time can dry out /crack/ fail. THOSE are the lines (rubber) to inspect/replace.
