225/50 on front?

Greetings,
Anybody got advice on whether a 225/50/16 will fit on the front of my stock SC?

Will I have to tweek the camber? Roll the fenders?

Thanks
Scott
PS Still looking for 21/28 or 22/28 hollow torsions. Used of course. With some idea of milage. Anybody? Buehler?

Yes and yes. You can try the camber- maximum allowable will be neccessary- and then you'll find that rolling the fenders will follow.

Do a search here (you'll have to get creative with your search terms) and you'll see this question has come up a number of times.

FYI, I run 225/50-16 on the front of my car with -1 deg. camber, shaved fender lips (because the lips were trashed by previous poor tire fitment and weren't worth rolling) on a 16x8 wheel with a +28mm offset

Big question is what size wheel are you using?
I think that a 225/50 might be a tad much for a 7"
let alone the stock 6" wide wheel!

I went with a 225/45/16 on my 8x16 Fuchs (951) front.
Still needed to roll the fenders with -2* camber as my car
is lowered. 24.25" in front, and 24.5" in rear.

225/50 can be done but it's tight w/ 7 or 8" Fuchs. Both of these front fitment wheels have an o/s of +23.3. Wheels in those widths w/ +25 to +31 fit better.

This is a 225/50/16 on a 7" rim.
I had to hammer out the fender lip to keep from cutting the tires.

Sorry, I don't remember what I have my camber set at.
