Strange rubbing noise when turning

I have a 1980 low mileage 911SC. When I let the clutch out normally there is a slight rubbing noise, this becomes more pronounced when I have a passenger and/or turning. It goes away after about 5 mph and if I let the clutch out slowly and use a little higher rpm to "slip" the clutch it does not make a noise at all.

No noise any other time at all and car drives great. Have had this car for over a year, but is driven relatively little (too much rain here).

Everything looks great, feels tight, cvs etc. Does have oversized tires on the rear and has been lowered with newer bilsteins.

Any ideas?

Your back end is squatting under acceleration. Take off the rear tires and look at the underside on the flares to see where the rubbing occurs if you can't already see it on the sidewall.

Already checked that out, no rubbing from tires, sounds like axle rubbing, but everthing looks clear and no evidence of anything hitting.

I had a similar problem with my 3.2 Carrera. A noise when turning! I don't know if it relates to your problem but, here we go.
My problem was a sticking front near-side brake caliper. Solution get a brake cylinder repair kit and new sensor. That fixed it.

My personal rubing issues:

1- Oil line between the oil tank / engine and oil thermostat rubing on the inside wall of the rear right tire.

2- Headlamp washer tank filling hose rubing on front left tire only during right turns only.

Hope it will help you. Those are easy to check.
