Question More ride heightr/alignment questions

For the '87-89 Carrera, can anyone speak to the exact effects on the range of adjustment available with the rear camber and toe adjustment eccentrics by:

1) Leaving the rear ride height eccentric stock and lowering the car to euro height by re-indexing torsion bars only
2) Changing the ride height eccentrics adjustments

In other words, does the range of the adjustment of the alignment eccentrics change when one lowers the car via either re-indexing torsion bars or changing the ride height eccentrics?

The eccentrics have a specific range of adjustment that is constant regardless of the torsion bar indexing. You should be able to adjust the ride height through a range of about an inch or so. If they have not been touched since the factory, then you will only be able to raise the car with the eccentrics, since the factory set them to rest on their lowest adjustment so that the car would not settle after delivery, nor would it become a safety issue due to the ride height falling below the US minimum.

Nice color choice, BTW
