RSR 10,000 rpm tachometer question

Hi,

What's the difference between p/n 911.641.304.00 and 901.741.302.06 ?

all depends on what face they have
those with a redline are more valuable then those without, the latter is a "sports tach" perhaps rarer then an S tach, but by no means unobtainium ... i payed 230 £ for an "as new" specimen...

The tach with the 901 prefix actually pre-dates the RSR by several years. They began producing them in the 1960's and Porsche used them in whatever cars they produced for racing. They were used in 911s and 914s. Porsche has always had optional parts like these for customers that wanted to race their cars.
