What size spacers do I need >?
I'm running 7's and 8's btw with 205/55R16 and 225/50R16 YOKO's and it's been lowered quite a bit. to 24.25 and 24.75.
What size spacers would I need to fill out the arches front and back? I have uploaded some scans of the exsisting set up. Appreciate your help on this one chaps Richard ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

15mm is about all you can go IMHO, 21mm is too much but I have seen it done. Think 21mm will rub.

20 mm max maybe 1 inch would work if you roll the lips. The front is fine i woulden,t even try a spacer there i,m sure it will rubb. The best is to get a set of 9J fuchs for the rear offcourse

9X16 will not change the appearance as the additional 1" is all on the inside of the rim (I believe).
I had 21mm on my car w/ 8's and it looked like ***** to me, so took them off and now have 15mm. |

You can use up to 7mm(os is it 9mm) shims front and back with standard studs, this is the cheapest option.
if you want more then you either need longer studs fitted or you have to buy adapters that bolt to your hubs and then bolt the wheels to the adapters. Spacers: ![]() Adapters: ![]() I fitted 9mm shims all round as was quite pleased with the change.

I got the H&R variety that come with longer studs that you need to swap out. For some reason, the studs were a bit too long and poked through my lug nuts (it only had to happen once).
So, I put an additional ~7m spacer on there to solve the problem.
