Need fun with custom paint scheme

I have a 1979 SC targa that I am currently spending a lot of time and effort to repaint Grand Prix white.

I am wanting to add tasteful graphics that are not too off from period ( I may have to sell the car some day).

This car has a white targa bar cover and white vinyl top with narrow RS bumpers added front and back (still have SC flares on back). The car has a set of Gottis with the black allen-head bolts around the outside, with gold chrome accented centers and caps with hand-painted Porsche crests.

Some things I have been looking at are side Carrera decals (even in chrome gold to match the Gottis), black and gold racing stripes etc.

Anyone have any cool ideas out there? I am VERY open and would appreciate any input and even any pics of something. The bad part for me is that 79 was not a stellar year for 911 graphics.

I appreciate the graphics suggestions, but am looking for more of a classic custom / fun advernture here.

I have attached a pic from another Pelicaner that is almost exactly what I have (including the RS type front and rear bumper). On my car, I have a fiberglass extended tail with the two grills and the Targa bar is white instead of black. I have removed the side graphic on this car in the photo below:



The wheels I have for the car are Gottis and I am powder-coating the centers white with black lug nuts. There are pics of these wheels below:





Please give me suggestions for this newly-painted "Grand Prix" white targa. I NEED HELP!!!!!!!!!!
