LED Lights upgrade & Indicator Problems

I have just finished upgrading most of the light bulbs on my 911 3.2c.

I have to say that the quality of the lights are fantastic. Much brighter and well defined colours, sharp rise times and a fraction of the current drain. Th downside is that the bulbs are more expensive than their tungsten equivelent.

I have a problem, that I'd like some help with solving......

when changing the indicator bulbs, the rate of flashing increases due to the reduced current load. The cure is to replace the flasher unit with one design to switch LED bulbs. This I have done, but i have noticed the side effect is that the green indicator lights on the rev vounter are now blinking only very very dimly.

Any ideas on what the cause might be and how to fix it?

Many thanks
