Exclamation odd headlamp problem

Yesterday, my passenger side headamp low beam wasn't working. The bulb & fuse checked ok, as were the marker lamps & high beams. 12+ Vdc were measured across the appropriate contacts.

It turned out - get this - that the fuse mounting clips were dirty and/or corroded enough that the voltage was more-or-less ok, but not enough current could get to the lamp to illuminate it.

One more thing to pay attention to on a 20 year old car.
