Why can't I upload photos?
I am trying to upload photos & nothing happens after waiting 5 minutes or more.
Is there a problem right now? I have uploaded photos many times before. I am trying to upload 1 at a time, it is less than 1 megabyte & it is a .jpg format. Thanks.

Thanks. Nice car, by the way.
I will try again. ![]() Okay, it worked, but it took about 3 minutes to upload. I checked my processor speed & my connection speed & there does not appear to be a problem.

Check to make sure the file names for the pictures don't have punctuation in them. Best is short names with only letters, no spaces or anything else other than the .jpg suffix.

Doug,
Fastest direct upload and copy back [Jelsoft image code to display pic] to your Pelican response edit window will occur if the file is less than 100,000 bytes AND if image is no more than 800 pixels wide. Otherwise, Pelican server will have to resize the image, and that may be what caused the two-three minute delay you experienced ... The best software I have found to resize and alter JPG compression ratrio is a freeware program called Irfanview, available at: www.irfanview.com
