Dash gap stopgap solution -- '69-76
I had an extra pair of dash defroster vents and sacrificed two to extend the vents toward the interior of the car.
These are just initially glassed-up and require finishing work, but are -- IMO -- a more elegant solution than cardboard fixes. I thought since I needed a solution, several other of you might, as well, so I looked for a means to make a short run of them. My local leads on vacuum-forming didn’t come through for me, so if anyone out there in Pelicanland can make ‘skins’ to cover the stock defoster vents and fill the gaps, I’ll loan these out as molding bucks. Or if there’s another methodology to make these, I’m all ears. ![]() ![]()
