dist. signal wire question

For some strange reason, the dist. signal wire connector & the ground connect are still connected to the dist/timing cover, while my wiring harness is sitting on the shelf. This wire was old & brittle before this phenomenon occurred & now it’s just all mangled. I have traced this wire back to the 2 prong connector at the CDI panel.

This wire is not the green dist signal wire w/ disconnect like in the parts catalog. It's from a 76 2.7L and is a very light brown w/ the signal part (to dist) incased & then wound w/ the ground portion. I will replace it, but need to find a source for this wire. Does any one know where I can get some?

Thanks,

~Chris
