Test answer:

THANK YOU WAYNE!

I like the update.
Things I like:
Larger typeface. (lame old me)
Still fits 600x800 (again lame old me)
The “Moved” is now not red and is smaller.

I haven’t found any “dislikes” (yet) other than it is much slower even with HS-DSL.
I’ll let you know.

We all realize how much effort you go to with the Pelican site and really appreciate the effort.

THANK YOU

Best,
Grady

(I have been on Early S while Pelican was down.)

I'm not sure I like the user profile above the message or is that a user setting somewhere?

+1 on how much we appreciate your efforts with this bbs.

I have a T1 connection that is down right now too, so that makes everything seem very slow...

I LOVE the fact that I know now "peek" into the post without having to open it up. Will save me from looking at all those posts with misleading titles!!!!

Send a message via Yahoo to ZOA NOM
I miss the quick links at the top of the forum that I used to jump back and forth from Tech to AX/Racing, etc. Will those return? Also, the icon for threads I've posted to doesn't stand out as well as the old version, and there is no Buddy List on my User Control Panel. I liked seeing when other folks are online. I'm sure there will be plenty to like, but these were my very first impressions.

Hmmm...Different. Can you standardize the way the avatars/names show up? They are all different sizes. Can I add a big Rennlist signature?

I liked the poster information along the top as it was earlier today as opposed to the information on the left as the old BB. The different size is distracting but temporary I'm sure.

Speed is great compared to the last 4-6 weeks, BTW I am on a wide open cable modem at over 700Kbs speed.

Cool

Wow, that must have been lots of work.
Seems slower, especially when on Dial-up.
Old dudes like me get confused with changes.

Why does the left side with the Username have different sizes?
It seems to cut down on the post-size to the right in some cases.

I'm sure that you'll take care of this, but are the classifieds accessible now?

edit: found them.
