Official Server Feedback Thread...

I still have a few more things to do with the upgrade, but for the most part, I'm done. Here's what's still on my list:

- Off Topic newbie filter
- Safari crash problem

- Select post box is missing on display post - FIXED
- Add messages inbetween posts - DONE
- Tweaks to the post display page - DONE
- Increase size of Page 1 2 3 , etc. - DONE
- View first thread jump doesn't work correctly - FIXED
- SPAM filter plug-in - DONE

Let me know what you guys think - most of the stuff from before should be working fine now...

FTY: the calendar only goes through 2006.

other than that, it's been fast & easy to use for me.

Adding photos has still been hit and miss with "java script errors" but for the most part it works fine to upload photos.

THANK YOU! much faster loads, and great service from a great host! Much easier and faster to spend more money on P-car parts now!

Kerrrr Ching, you just got $400 from me yesterday as a form of thanks for the new server, its great!

Nope, it's right there on top next to FAQ.

Members list doesn't have the search function it used to have.

But, it's great!! Thanks.

The absolute best way is to go to a place like www.imageshack.com and host the image there, it takes about 30 seconds to do. Then you simply use the picture button on the toolbar, or you do this:

"" without the quotes. You can also use the web space provided to you for free by most ISP's. Doing this removes some of the size limitations set by the BBS.

And BTW, Wayne, the new BBS is amazing. The layout is excellent, and the speed is amazing for VB.

Ben & Scott

Thanks for the help.

My problem was that I selected to view the Forum with version 3. I changed it back and all is well.

Thanks for your hard work!

We could use a Next Page 'button' like before -- not just a small 2 when you're on 1, or a small 4 when you're on 3...

acapella8 07-27-2007 06:39 PM

I would second the vote for the "next page" link . . .

Excellent job Wayne.

So it is. I was looking in the "old" location (upper right).

Thanks.

khamul02 07-27-2007 07:27 PM

Another vote for the word next to go with the ">".

Also on photos: nothing sux worse than reading an old post and the image is not there anymore because it is on another server that has removed it! Just post them here. It's not rocket science.
