MY Race Car project is finally finished
Well after several long years of building and making changes, my race car is finally finished. Yes, it cost twice as much and took twice as long to build than originally planned but I am very happy with the outcome.
It statted life as a red 1978 SC euro non sunroof coupe. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

The basic specs are
SUSPENSION 935 ERP front 993 ERP rear triple adjustable JRZ's Eibach springs Racers group sway bars DRIVE TRAIN 993 based 3.4 ltr motor with a 3.0 ltr crank and slightly over bored pistons and cylinders, Jenvey ITB, Motec, custom headers all by Peter Dawe G50 Trans with shortened bell housing and the Wevo flywheel & clutch package with Powerhouse II light weight short gears with a very tall first. CHASSIS 1978 SC tub just enough is left to make me legal in PCA GT3 Full roll cage 993 wide body kit in carbon fiber and composite body work including the roof WHEELS Forgeline ZX3R lightweight competition wheels 10" wide front 12.5" wide rear I will most likely run some Michelin slicks BRAKES Performance friction light weight rotors with brembo racing calipers. Lighter with more stopping power than big reds. In car video system with 3 bullet cams and a solid state recorder from DriveData I hope to have it on the track with in 2 weeks for testing.

Unbelievable. That is some serious firepower. There doesn't seem to be much left of the SC you started with.
I see a 993 rear suspension with a heim-joint multilink and JRZ. That is pretty slick stuff.

Yea- what everyone else said. Wow.
What does it weigh? And you're making maybe 350-360 hp out of that 3.4? It looks insanely competitive, and like a complete blast to drive. Do let us know...

Truly impresive.....
It''s almost...like ....don't put in on a track where it might get *scratched*...or worse.... ! Wil
