Fast turn signal
Hello My fellow Porsche owners,
I have a fast left turn signal and the front light works but does not blink. I have a new bulb and relay installed. Can anyone think of something else. Thanks |

Usually one of the bulbs is out when it blinks quickly. Either front or back.

Be certain you have the proper bulb in there. Sounds silly, but I have seen a 2 filament bulb in a single filament socket, and vice-versa. Can make all kinds of weird things happen.

If you have replaced the bulbs, check the thin wires in the head light buckets for corrosion or connectivity..
happens every time i pull out the head light.

Check that your bulbs are not low-wattage. The circuit will not work with the low wattage bulbs because the coil needs a minimum current to operate properly.
Do search, but I think low wattage are 15watts and you need 21 watt bulbs. Also, you should specify your vehicle and year in your signature, or in your post. If you have a 1977 Lada my advice should be ignored. |
