waxing the carrot errr I mean Carrera

Does anybody have any helpful hints in how to wax around the raised Carerra lettering? I'm thinking it would be best to remove the label, but it isn't screwed it, it seems glued. I don't want the carerra lettering looking like craperra with all the leftover wax residue.
Thanks

You could try to cover it with 'painter's tape', probably a PITA to do so but it's a thought. I have never done it myself but in theory it should work.

Talking

I use Q-tips and a tooth brush to apply and remove it. It works for me.

Get a whale tail so it has a roof over it to protect it and that tiny area around the letters won't need waxing much. hehe.

84porsche and I just waxed my red one today and had no issues with the wax around the badge. The secret is to put the wax on really, really lightly and just be extra careful around the badge. Don't slop it on. Once it's dry, use a very soft towel sprayed lightly with detail spray and the wax will come right off.

Here's what mine looks like after today. It was easy.
