I completed a tune up today using all new plugs, distributer cap, rotor and Magnecor Wire's, my car runs so much better, stronger and faster! Due to the condition of the old plugs and ignition wires, I speculate that my car never had a tune up! I purchased the Magnecor Wire set from our host, they rock!

Sabeo, did the the Magnecor Wire set fit without being too tight or having some wires with excess amount of cable?
Thanks,

Mitch, the wire set fit nicely, you will hear a slight snap when the cable makes contact with the spark plug. The cable length is perfect with just the right amount of slack. I updated the post with some pictures. The quality of the wire set is very good and by the looks of it, they seem like they are going to last a really long time.

Less brakes, more gas!

Replacing old crap does wonders... when I put my Magnacores on I was amazed that my car even ran... the coil wire was completely severed and hanging on by a little flap of rubber... Who knew!
My magnacores are too too short, sad to say. I cannot run them in the factory locations... not even close. Best regards, Michael

my old spark plugs were rusted and two of them didn't even have the tiny screw tips on them! My dad and i suction in side of the plug entry holes to remove them and all the dirt. When i pulled one the old oem ignition wire plugs the shaft broke in pieces.

Be sure to check the gas pedal linkage, then. There may be more HP left on the table if you are not getting wide open throttle when the pedal is fully down.

Holy Cow! I'm glad I have a race car with a plain old carburated engine. I can see and get to my plug wires, and other engine bits and pieces without all that "stuff" in the way.
