Porsche Crest Recommendation for removing Glue

Hi All, What is the best way to remove the glue from the firewall. I just remove the sound padding and wanted to make it look nice.
Thanks in advance
John

No personal experience, but others on the board recommend 3M Adhesive Remover.

Acetone works well but will remove the paint too.

WD40 works on "sticker" adhesive
