First Dyno Run

This is a megasquirt II v.3 (with relay board) conversion of a stock '83 SC sunroof delete coupe.

Back dated heat.
3.2 carrera intake, throttle body, fuel rails.
SSI HE's.
Dansk 2:1 muffler
24# high impedance injectors (Mustang)
3.2 Carrera heads twin plugged. (Walt Watson at Competition Engineering)
Dual EDIS Ford ignition (off of 2 1995 Aerostars).
98mm jugs (Chinese) and 10.5:1 JE pistons (Henry at Supertec)
964 Cams (camgrinder)
Clewett wires and crank pulley.
Clewett cam angle sensor placed in anticipation of going sequential with the MS router board when available.
CHT is a stock carrera for coolant temp based warmup. IAT is a GM sensor. Idle control is a GM O-ring stepper style also from Clewett with Bosch adapter.

With 10.5:1 and 964 cams, that torque curve is mighty flat from 3200 to 6000. I'll bet this pulls real strong and doesn't seem to run out of breath. I'm curious Steve, howz this compare before and after using your butt dyno? Is this street? AutoX? DE?

I would love to have motor like this in my 72, but isn't amazing that in todays world of cars that 225 hp isn't much any more. Seems like most sport cars, etc have at least 270 bhp or even more when they come off the line. Heck my 2002 Saab has 276 whp now. Sure it's only a Saab and it will be eaten alive off the line, but from a roll it hauls ass like alot of these new cars now out.
I guess what i mean is that you see all these comercials now and alot of cars are way up there in hp. My poor little 72 is slow in todays standards. Thank god it's lite.
