Unhappy arrgh! more 944 turn signal fuse problems

arrgh! i spent 3 HOURS yesterday cleaning all the contacts in my rear lights. i even cleaned the ground wire in the rear hatch area.

everything worked perfectly yesterday, everything worked perfectly this morning. now a few minutes ago i got into my car and put the key in to test the window switches. the stupid flasher fuse popped even though i didn't even have the flashers on!

is it the relay? since the dealership is closed i called Pep Boys, NAPA, Autozone, and Advance Auto Parts. NONE of them have the equivalent flasher relay in stock (or at least their computer isn't showing an equivalent).

if it's a short then how could this pop up all of a sudden if i haven't done any electrical work on the car?

oops! can the mods please move this to the 944 forum? thanks!

thanks!

obin
