Great video....very interesting.

I am quite intrigued with it all.

[How much does that Tech Edge thing cost? Their website is the slowest thing in the world and I can't find any information about cost.]

After 10 minutes it did get the page to load partially!

So for $550 what do I get that is better than other wide band sensors?

3 "analogue" inputs and 4 thermocouple inputs......

Why is this such a good unit?

How do you use it in the information you demonstrated in the video. I am sure the lambda input is part of it what else does it do?

It's a very good quality Air Fuel Wide Band O2 meter but it has a ton of extra inputs as well. Most WBO2 meters don't have nearly as many inputs as these techedge devices all in a single small package.

The idea is it monitors the inputs in real time displays everything on one common configurable desktop and also allows you to do logging and record all the inputs to a log file for later review.

Here's another video of how you setup the desktop the way you want it, extremely configurable.

I like the second video even more!

Are you programming the stock ECU? that is what I am assuming.

That software is pretty amazing. I love its flexibility and customization.

I have stock MFI in my 1973 so I can't do that great stuff. but I do have a data logging AFR instrument from Daytona Sensors that gives me AFR, RPM, and MAP. My CDI also has data logging. So I do have enough data for the fuel injection and timing that I do have.

Again, I am very intrigued with your work. Keep the information coming.

Where are you in southern MA? I am originally from RI.

Let's not confuse what you are looking at in the videos. These are 2 separate products:

- TechEdge with WinLog - is the monitoring Logging side of the house and is what this thread is all about.

- Moats EPROM emulator with TunerPro is what lets me emulate the chip in real time, this thread does not discuss that setup. I spent the past 4 years understanding the DME internals and creating the map files for TunerPro, I plan to market some products in the future so I can't give away this information but poke around on TunerPro website and you can learn more.

In the video you see both GUIs, WinLog and TunerPro but for this thread we are only taking about WinLog and monitoring sensors and such. We are not talking about tuning.

I do understand that it is 2 separate products. I do know a little bit about TunerPro.

This is what I use for data logging and AFR.

Would be awesome if you could send that techedge data to your iphone instead of a laptop
